Swallowing stones

by: Joyce Mcdonald

Swallowing stones is a very amusing book  written by Joyce Mcdonald. The book goes through lies carelessness and other actions taken by teenagers. Throughout the story, the police are trying to figure out who killed Jenna Ward’s dad. They have two suspects, Michael and Joe. These two teenagers both were being careless and shoot a gun into the air the bullet from the gun traveled a mile until it hit somebody, Jenna Ward’s dad. Michael and Joe lie about shooting a gun that day and they hid the evidence. Jenna has many dreams about many different people that she just met and close to the end she figures they are all connected just like all the stars are all connected. In the end you find out who killed Jenna Ward’s dad, but the end of the book leaves you wanting to know what happened to the murder, how much time do they have to do, or do they have to do time or not. The book leaves you in awe, wanting more to do with it, and you get addicted to it.
